Description: Up for sale here is this recap kit for a Seeburg TSR6 selector, found in the L101, 161, and 201 jukeboxes. At this point the selector is around 65 years old, and the old capacitors are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes replacement electrolytic and film capacitors to replace all of the old electrolytic, can, wax, paper, and molded capacitors, as well as the stepper capacitor (part 11076). It also includes instructions to explain how to install everything. The instructions will also go over some basics for working on tube gear. This does not include any tubes or other capacitors or resistors. New caps are Supertech axial electrolytics, Supertech MPT film capacitors, and one Kemet film capacitor--you will get the exact parts shown in the picture. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same parts I use when I work on vintage gear. The parts included are mostly exact uf replacements, some of which you can't really find anywhere else. I don't think anyone else is offering axial .02 uf film caps, for example. The 300 uf 50v cap is upgraded to a 330 uf 63v cap. These mostly go higher in voltage compared to the originals--the film caps are 630v, the Supertech electrolytic caps are 50v and 450v, and the Kemet film cap is 700v. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions (with a link to download a schematic), but rebuilding tube gear is somewhat complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This kit will not fix everything that could be wrong with your equipment, but it will certainly help. Please see my pictures for details.
