Description: The_Authentic_Arrowhead_Store SEDALIA MORGAN CO MISSOURI This very cool SEDALIA came from a large collection out of Morgan Co Missouri. It is obviously authentic and shows nice use with great patination. It is made from a beautiful semi translucent piece of Mozarkite chert. It has nice edge work and is quite thin. There is no modern damage. Sedalia points are Late Archaic in age, ranging from 3,000 to 4,000 years old. A fantastic point like this one will make a great addition to any authentic collection.The last picture shows the group as a whole. Keep in mind when buying you will only be getting the point pictured on its own. We took the group photo as a means to save the collection history. COLLECTION HISTORY This collection of farm found artifacts comes from a lady in Southern Morgan Co Missouri. These were found on their farm by herself and her family. A friend of mine ended up with this collection and then sold the entire group to me. The entire group was farm fresh with no purchased items or any alterations or re-chips. The collection was all authentic down to the last piece. There were just over one thousand artifacts in this collection. Most if them were Etley culture artifacts. the material most were made of is Mozarkite which is the state rock of Missouri. These artifacts are guaranteed ancient for life and are thousands of years old. Size 4.51 inches in length.
