Description: A beautiful highly detailed cherry Chippendale style serpentine secretary by Jasper Furniture.The top display case has two convex glass doors with cubed fretwork which are bracketed on either side by fluted columns. They open to the display area with two adjustable glass shelves. A 120v fixed light at the top illuminate the interior. The crown is a split pediment with a central wreath form finial. The bottom portion has a drop front secretary desk which opens to an organizer section with four drawers and multiple cubbies on each side and a central door with inlaid urn. On either side of the central door are two pull out " secret " storage areas and the center door area pulls out to reveal a secret area in back. The base has four serpentine dovetailed drawers with heavy brass hardware. Four ball and claw feet the look.This is a quality piece that is sure to be a focal as well as a useful piece in any room. It is all original and in excellent condition with no visible wear.Dimensions are: 82 1/2" tall by 35: wide by 16 1/2" deep
