One in completely brand new condition is even rarer; buying a low-firmware console is nice, but this one being completely unused is a great perk. Given the date of purchase for this console, it is guaranteed to have a firmware of 4.00 or lower. I cannot specify which exact firmware the console has without unboxing and booting the console, which I won’t do, but since 4.00 was released on 9/15/21 and the console was purchased on 9/23/21 from the direct Sony invitation it is almost certainly either 3.20 or 4.00.
