Description: For sale today is the huge, out-of-print (oop), and very rare Image Comics trade paperback (TPB)/graphic novel Scud: The Disposable Assassin: The Whole Shebang, by Rob Schrab, published in 2008. It is the hard-to-find (htf) fourth/4th print edition with the alternate cover, and is 764 pages long. "BEGINNING, MIDDLE AND END!" Collects Scud: The Disposable Assassin (1994-2008) # 1-24. Written by ROB SCHRAB, DAN HARMON and MONDY CARTER. Art and cover ROB SCHRAB. Scud is programmed to destroy a basement monster but he will self destruct if he does, so the robotic assassin puts the wounded creature on life support and becomes a freelance assassin to pay for the hospital bills. Includes the super-sweet one-shot DRYWALL: UNZIPPED. I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This copy is in very good overall condition, with a solid spine and excellent overall inside pages (photo#12 example). Other than 1 edge ding and a light cover indent, it has some primarily lesser and external signs of wear. **Photo#3:-Spine edge: Small scratch near its middle, otherwise some light shelf-scratches around it. **Photo4: -Upper spine corner: Light scuffing, small/light ding/indent at/around where it meets back cover.-Lower spine corner: Light scuffing, small/light ding/indent at/around where it meets back cover. **Photo#5: -Front cover top edge: ~1/2" scuff at spine corner, otherwise light levels of scuffing. -Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend. **Photo#6:-Front cover bottom edge: Some shelf-scuffing along the edge. ~1/2" ding/cover indent towards the spine corner (photo#9 w/illumination) that shows on ~1/8 pages as a light depression/indent, and thru ~1/3 as a smaller scuff.-Outer corner: Small/light indent on bottom edge near corner. Small/light indent/scuff/bend at extreme corner that goes thru ~30 pages as a bend. **Photo#7: -Back cover top edge: Light if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes lightly thru ~10 pages. **Photo#8:-Back cover bottom edge: Small ding/scuff near its middle that shows as a light depression on ~20 pages, otherwise some mostly light shelf-scuffing along the edge.-Outer corner: Small horizontal indent/scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/5 pages as a light bend. **Additionally: Front cover possesses two light ~3/4" horizontal indents/depressions near its bottom edge, with a nearby small patch of scratches. Some lighter shelf-scratching around mostly the cover's center/upper peripherals. Page edge has some light scuffing along it, and a light cover lift. Back cover has a light vertical indent/depression spanning most of its height near the page edge (photo#10 w/illumination), shows as a light depression on ~20 pages. 2 additional small indents/depressions near the bottom outer corner (photo#11 w/illumination), they show as light depressions on ~12 pages, with one continuing on thru ~1/4. Some light shelf-scratching around the cover. Book has a light top outer quadrant flex/bend. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit.
