No. 6 (See photos 2 for table of contents) Science and Mechanics was started by Hugo Gernsback soon after he lost his Experimenter Publishing Company in 1929. Initially titled Everyday Mechanics, it became Everyday Science and Mechanics in 1931. Virgil Angerman purchased the magazine in 1937 and changed the title to Science and Mechanics. Magazine is in acceptable condition. General shelf and corner wear. Staining on the interior and exterior. Staining on the end pages. Spine has some fraying on top but is taped. (see photo #8). Bottom right of front cover is dogeared. General staining on the front cover with the back flap stained slightly more. A solid reading copy.
