This filter has a grade of 1/2. Grades of 1/4, 1, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are also available where this filter type's effect becomes approximately twice as strong with each grade number increase. The small particles within a Radiant Soft filter are optimized to effectively maintain existing contrast and highlights even while higher grade numbers are used. The Schneider 4 x 5.65" Radiant Soft 1/2 Filter is constructed from water white glass for clarity as well as color fidelity.
