Description: SCHECTER ST Model Sunburst Used 1990s Alder Body Maple Neck w/Soft Case SCHECTER ST type is now in stock. Details such as model number and year of manufacture are unknown, but it is a very well-built domestic Schecter. The serial number is 5 digits starting with 92 and appears to be from the early 1990s. The body is alder (center 2 piece) and the neck is maple. The pickup is Monster Tone, and the controls are 1 volume, 2 tone, 5way switch, Coil tapping is possible with the push-pull of the lower knob. The volume pot and middle tone pot have been replaced. (It is unclear how much of the specifications are original.) There are many scratches, dents, dullness and peeling of plating due to aging of hardware. There is rust on the pickup pole piece. Only the back of the neck has a matte finish and the clear paint may have been slightly removed. (The matte coating improves the playing feel.) The frets have some wear, but there are still some left and can be used for a long time. There's also plenty of room for the truss rod. Arm missing. Schecter soft case included. (There is a feeling of use, and only one shoulder belt has been replaced with another one.)
