Description: Antique Belgium Socket Bayonet Model 1867 for the Albini Brandlin with interesting zig-zag slot. Measures 21" overall with a blade length of 18.5", inside socket diameter of .690". PJ stamped on ricasso, (P.J. MALHERBE Maker) cartouches on the elbow on the right, top of socket stamped N2536 and stamped BELGIUM on the left side of socket. "P." stamp on the collar ring. Excellent condition with light age patina, wear. Excellent and scarce item.
