Description: This great picture collage salutes that great jazz musician Louis Armstrong. The collage features a copy of a movie poster of a feature film that he starred in "Satchmo the Great" as well as a picture of Louis Armstrong as a member of Joe "King" Oliver's jazz band in the early 1920's. That is his wife Lil Hardin shown on the piano. Highlighting the collage is the First Day Cover of the stamp issued to LOuis Armstrong. On the day a stamp is issued, it is only available in the city where it is issued and the Post Office certifies this by canceling the stamp “First Day of Issue.” The Louis Armstrong's stamp was issued in New Orleans, La. Overall, a great collectible for any music fan. The size of this matted picture is 11" x 14" and will fit any 11" x 14" inch frame. (a standard size). I make all these collages by hand.
