Description: DESCRIPTIONHello, and welcome to Murkwood Carnivorous Plants, a small registered Washington nursery!This listing is for a pack of 25 genuine seeds from the following Sarracenia hybrid cross: Sarracenia (Oreophila Sand Mountain x Flava) x Leucophylla 'wide vein' select x S. 'Santa Clara' from Phil Faulisi Carnivorous Plant Seeds (SEEDS ONLY, PLANTS NOT INCLUDED!)About the parent plants: Sarracenia (Oreophila Sand Mountain x Flava) x Leucophylla 'wide vein' select (pod parent): This plant was a seedling grown from Jerry Addington, an old collection clone I received from Willow Creek Nursery before it retired. It's already a gorgeous plant in its own right, and grows tall (2 feet), with oversized ruffled lids and crazy, wide red/pink veins. It is very vigorous plant and produces several new growth points per year. Sarracenia 'Santa Clara' (pollen parent): This is a plant I only recently acquired, but it is a lovely selection of Saurus x Adrian Slack bred by Phil Faulisi! It carries the classic Saurus deep wine color on the prominent nectar roll, and infuses the whole lid with a nice dark pink with Adrian Slack's shape and vein pattern prevalent. The seeds: The seeds were made by crossing the above described clones, in order to produce some beautiful, tall colorful hybrids, with dark lips and most likely dark pink coloration and nice, possibly wide dark vein pattern from both parents. These should be exciting and beautiful!Pollination methods: My pollination regimen includes bagging the flowers with fine mesh as soon as they open and keeping them bagged well after the petals drop. This is viable, ripe seed from my 2023 harvest from my nursery.The packs of seeds are stored dry in a refrigerated environment for freshness. Since I have already sown some myself (and the results look quite promising), supplies are limited!These should be gorgeous!Photos 1 through 5 shows the parent plants in full growth in my nursery.
