Description: Lighter looks good-does not have the little jewel on the ships deck and a small screw is missing from the base. We don't know if this works, not tested-it opens with the depress, no spark and no fluid. This lighter is a hard-to-find model being the S.S. United States. Information found on this lighter are that it's a vintage boat lighter manufactured by the Segawa Manufacturing Company of Japan (Sarome) during the 1950s, and that it was one of about eleven different models produced by Sarome during that era.
