Description: Gem rough from the Umba Valley, Tanzania, that I purchased in 1989 at the Tucson show and faceted myself. The gem is precision cut (diamond cut), with faceted girdle and faceted culet. Satisfies Tiffany faceting standards. The color is a medium light, very strongly greenish BLUE. GIA color definition is vstgB 4/2.
