This item is very temperamental in different weather conditions. Everyone has different skill levels when dealing with these. They do not "MELT" technically and this is a non-perishable item, but they can get very soft in high temps and making it hard to get backing off. Same as with the heat, the extreme cold can make them very brittle. We package these very well with Fragile and do not bend or force in mailbox warnings in multiple places on package, but it can still happen. Please contact us if so.
