Description: I personally got this copy of the original 1989 Sandman #1 Autographed by Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean in December of 1994 at Oxford Books in Atlanta during their first autograph signing tour. I included a photo of the advertisement for the event. I meet Neil and Dave that day, after standing in line for a while they signed my issue #1, and my Jackson Dinky guitar and a Death Card. It was a great day! This was literally 30 years ago. I have kept it bagged and boarded ever since. I remember when I pulled the guitar out they said excitedly with a British accent," Alright we get to sign a Guitar." I remember it making me laugh. Anyway, in this auction I am including everything that is left of my Sandman collection. The auction includes some very rare issues: #1 Autographed by Neil Gaiman & Dave McKean #2 - 9,17,19,29,30, 38-40,50-54,56-69,70-75. Sandman Special #1Sandman Overture #1-5 All books are Very Fine to Near Mint and have been kept bagged and boarded forever.I will be double boxing all comics as to protect them in shipping. I am currently selling off all of my collectibles and items I have gathered over the years with the goal of buying a fancy guitar.
