Description: This cover was mailed from San Francisco, California to San Jose, California in 1914 franked by a one-cent green Vasco Balboa Panama Pacific Expo issue of 1914, Scott 401, and a one-cent Washington issue. The stamps are tied to the envelope by a Panama Pacific Exposition slogan machine cancellation. Three manuscript, what look like Chinese characters drawn on front. Cut open right so a little reduced, and partway slit open top, part of the backflap was removed; small edge tear (see scans). No contents or backstamps.
