I guess it’s bittersweet. If you’re looking at this listing you’re probably already a denim head, so you’ll need to know these were hand washed with gentle detergent and raised from single-wash when I bought them in SoHo. They’re as perfectly broken in a pair of selvedge denim jeans as I’ve managed. The inseam is 28” but you’ve got another roughly 1” drop in the rise if you wear your jeans around your hips, so they fit more like a 29. Relaxed fit but tapered and not baggy. These are a more mature style than skinny jeans. The hem stitch should probably be redone, but I haven’t had time to take them to the city to the place with the chain stitch machine.
