It interfaces with computers through VGA connection and is compatible with both PC and MAC platforms. Standard Composite and S-Video connections are also available for output to televisions and other analog video receivers. The unit comes equipped with a remote control and custom carrying case for quick and easy transport. Full Function High Quality CameraThe SDP-900DX has a camera that can be rotated for display of flat objects, 3D-art, transparencies and film negatives. The camera captures at 15 frames per second with 8 seconds of saved video and a freeze-frame feature. The 12x optical zoom lens lets you focus on small portions of a documents and objects without digital zoom degradation. There are 8 camera presets which can be stored locally for controlling zoom, focus, and aperture. One notable feature is the ability to present negatives with picture-perfect clarity; simply toggle the camera to "invert" mode and you are good to go!Computer Interface for Any Platform This visual presenter can work with virtually any modern computer with a selection of interfaces. Data can be input via standard USB connection. It can be controlled through the computer using RS-232c or TWAIN software. Pull-down menus can be displayed and selected with just a touch of a mouse while screen writing or drawing can be done with an optional PS/2 mouse adapter. Above and Below Light Sources The SDP-900DX has 2 light sources to evenly illuminate documents and other items from above. The base unit can be illuminated from beneath for transparent objects such as negatives and medical slides.
