Samick Acoustic/Electric SW 210CE; Looks & Sounds Great; Made in Korea, 1993

Description: Samick 1993 Acoustic/Electric, model SW 210 CE. Produced in Korea November of 1993. The early 90s were good years for Samick Korean acoustic/electrics. You can tell the date and location of manufacture from the serial number, 93110026--26th guitar made in Nov. 1993. There are a few minor surface blemishes which I have tried to capture in photos, but none of them are highly visible at a glance or from more than a few feet away. There is a 2' hairline crack on the front of the body which I doubt goes through the entire body, but I am not certain. I don't know the types of wood, but it is a very attractive guitar with blonde wood on the front, reddish-brown on the sides and back with an inlaid stripe down the middle of the back. With enough research, you could probably determine that. Plays well with a nice rich sound both acoustically and using the pickups; neck is straight and octaves and upper fretting is true. Frets are solid. Electronics (Samsung A/E internal pickup) has volume, bass, mid, and treble sliders. Tuners all work well. A little hum primarily when volume is turned up high. Requires a 9V battery; I just installed a fresh one. Fretboard could use a little cleaning. I didn't change the strings; you may wish to, which would be a good time to clean the fretboard. It will be shipped in a plush-lined cardboard case, but the case is not worth anything in its own right, but figured it would be good for secure packing. You will likely want to toss the case. Video attached, though I apologize for the clumsy playing. My son did some singer/songwriting and performed quite a bit years ago and this guitar always sounded great. However, it has been sitting idle in a case for a good 15 years now, and is too nice an instrument not to get played more. Note that UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes. Thanks for looking!
