Lying flat, these measure anywhere between 16 (relaxed) and 21 (stretched) inches. My Experience: I'm 6'3" tall, 180 "athletic" lbs with a 32-inch waist, and I usually wear J.A. briefs in Size Medium. (The bloke in the pics is 6' 1.5" with a 31" waist (in these pics) and is wearing size Medium.) These ride low on the hips. That said, this brand does run a bit smaller than usz, so a medium is sort of a smallish US medium. I humbly suggest that you measure your waist just below your belly button (as opposed to above) before deciding you want this handsome hunk hammock. Cheers!
