I sketched the salamander design freehand onto the shirt, then applied melted wax to retain that sketch. I then folded and tied the shirt in various patterns and applied a bleach solution. After dying was complete, the hardened wax was removed by "cooking" the shirt in a pot of boiling water once, twice, or perhaps three times. The shirt was washed and dried and this is the result. It is a soft, comfy cotton shirt, perfect for lounging around the home in sweats or pairing with jeans for a night out.*Please CHECK MEASUREMENTS carefully!
