Description: This is a Sager NP9872-S (Clevo P870DM2) that I got back in 2016 brand new. It carried me all the way through university and then some. It's been a very solid workhorse in the time that I've used it, but it has been over a year since I last used it and it's just collecting dust at this point. SpecsCPU: Intel Core i7 6700K (delidded, can run -175mV offset on the core, possibly more)RAM: 32GB DDR4 2133MHz (2 slots open)GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 (this was from a time before Max-Q/Max-P, so this is a full, fat GTX 1080).Storage:2x512GB Samsung 950 Pro NVMe SSDs -- one is the boot drive, the other I used for games, though in theory you could configure them as a RAID-0 or 1 if you wanted.1x2TB HDD -- I used this for mass storage1x512GB Toshiba SATA SSD -- this is an old SSD I had laying around that has started showing some errors. I just used this as a scratch disk and would continue to do so until it dies. SMART still reports it as "OK", just don't store anything important on it.Display: 1920x1080 120Hz (no VRR/G-sync)PSU: Comes with 2x230W power bricks and the combo adapter. The battery is basically shot -- doesn't hold a charge at all. At this point it's really just a UPS, though truthfully I wouldn't use this thing on battery even if that wasn't the case. In theory, this should be able to take Coffee Lake CPUs as well with the proper BIOS mods. I just never bothered to try. Comes with a fresh, activated install of Windows 10 Pro with all of the latest updates. Drivers were all installed from Windows update since the platform is EOL, except for the graphics driver which is the latest from Nvidia. I did not install GeForce Experience or any extra software -- the installation is fairly barebones. Fast startup is also disabled since it's really unnecessary with SSDs. NOTE that there is a minor crack in the bottom panel on the GPU side of the machine. I also removed the covers from the vents that were blocking the middle fan from the factory -- not sure why Clevo made it that way. Comes with a local user account already configured (username admin ; password password). I also had the Obsidian PC software suite installed on it before I blew away the Windows install in preparation for sale. Message me for more details if you want the activation keys, unless you don't plan on installing that stuff. The piece I used the most was fan control to set a more aggressive fan curve, followed by the keyboard LED software since it's less clunky than the Sager software that it originally came with.
