This elegant, ivory-toned earthenware, rectangular "cube" profile teapot is decorated with colorful depictions of ripe, autumn fruits. The original lid is included. The spout, handles, rim and base are encrusted with glistening, 22K gold, and the shoulders are embossed with glimmering, golden filigree. The bottom is imprinted with a Sadler Made in England trademark and hand-marked with the '1920' pattern number. This 4-cup capacity teapot measures approximately 4-1/2 inches tall, to the rim, 6 inches tall, to the top of the lid's handle, and 4-1/2 inches wide. This decades-old teapot is in very good to excellent condition. The colors are rich, and the details are distinct. The finish is lustrous, and the gold is glossy. There are no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. Please note there is moderate surface crazing, there is wear to the blueberry (grapes?) graphics on one side and a 1/2-inch rust spot on the interior base. See the photos for further clarification.
