RUSSIAN EMPIRE PORCELAIN 1790 Gardner original plate

Description: This sale is for one Russian antique late 18th early19th century porcelain dish- antique Plate The dish is apx diameter 22 cm each ( from side to side) both white porcelain with hand painted different floral motives. ( usual of that era ) Also the curiosity of these plates with the porcelain ''drops'' pearls style finishing all around the rim. none missing or broken !!! Plate in good condition over 250 y.of age. These were of the first attempts of the Catherine era to create real beautiful white porcelain in the Russian factory. Hand painted, usual motif of wild plain flowers That is why there are tiny bubbles on the face of porcelain/ tiny dots but none other but from the factory This never been broken or glued. A Museum piece ! Very simple as the decor is simple wild flowers. On the back : One has a G just visible for the Gardner (?) factory the other has no visible marking. These are very early flowery hand painted motifs, The plate has a hair/crack triangle in the back, please see pix carefully. these were of the first attempts for Russians the plates have these little black dots, here and there Some provenance:together with some other porcelain it was purchased from a distinguished gentleman in his 80s who's parents brought these from the Soviet Union in the 50's-60's (were on the diplomatic corps in the Soviet Union and Hungary).
