Description: RUSSEL WRIGHTBAUER VASEUSA 1945 era glazed ceramic earthenware vase by Russel Wright-American, 1904-1976. Designed for Bauer Pottery in Atlanta, Georgia as an art pottery line. A three sided vase in a heavily figured volcanic white glaze coloration with a dark interior. The base is molded in concentric rings with no apparent signature. A hairline can be seen on the bottom. The vase measures approximately 8 1/2" by 8" wide and 9" in height. The vase is in gently used vintage condition with no chips or repairs. The volcanic glaze is thick and in places mottled or pin pricked as is inherent with most of these pieces.
