Description: This is a used factory original Ruger MK 1 6-inch barrel; the front sight, as shown in the photos, is included. Although this is a Mark I barrel, it can be fitted on a Mark II or III. The threads are the same for Ruger’s Mark I, II, and III barrels. (If a Mark 1 barrel is installed on a Mark 3 the loaded-chamber indicator cannot be used as the Mark 1 barrel does not have the cut for it; if one wanted the loaded-camber indictor to function, the cut would need to be milled into the barrel before installation.) This barrel will also fit on a Ruger Mark 22/45. A replacement barrel on a Ruger Mark-series pistol is not considered a “drop-in” part and should be installed by a qualified gunsmith. Please check with your gunsmith about any installation options you may be considering with this barrel. No other parts than those shown in the photos are included. The barrel is used with some finish loss. Please review the photos; the photos are of the actual barrel offered in this listing.
