Description: This beautiful example of Victorian era pressed glass was likely produced in Europe based on certain elements of shape and design. Approximately 100-120 years old the covered dish or compote is adorned with an all over pattern of flowers both small and large, and scrolling branches with leaves. The edge of the bowl and lid are decorated with beads which is matched in the center of the stem also. The background of the pattern is stippled with tiny dots. This piece measures 9" tall and 5 5/8" in diameter. In very good condition it has one or two very minor nicks but no easily noticeable chips and no cracks at all. It would make an excellent addition to your home or collection.
