Description: For auction is a Royal Worcester Cabinet Plate, 10-3/4", circa 1940s. On the back this rural cottage scene and English gardens is shown identified as "Ripple." This Royal Worcester porcelain plate was hand painted by Raymond Rushton (1886-1956). Rushton was a very fine landscape painter but specialized in painting cottages and buildings of the past. He retired in 1953. This plate is in excellent condition. Please see the pictures. This, and most of our other listings come from the estate of the former owner of Le Petit Soldier Shop, Royal Street, New Orleans. This shop was unique and carried rare items of great quality.
