Description: An original landscape of Rowe Valley, Ireland by Joyce Young, dated 1992. Artist's signature and identification of the landscape handwritten on the back of the canvas. This painting has been professionally framed in a gold wooden frame and comes ready to hang. No details available about the artist.Oil (I believe) on canvas. Realistic style. This painting is very detailed, with beautiful brushstrokes in rich earth tones and vivid greens. This scenic green landscape captures the artist's view of Rowe Valley, Ireland. We are transported to the still green valley, standing on a paved path alongside a fenced field. A farm outbuilding can be see in the middleground; perhaps a spring house? A lush evergreen stands beside the outbuilding as a dirt road leads away. Trees stand in the background as far as we can see reaching up to a clear sky. In excellent vintage condition. There are a few nicks to the wooden frame, likely from its journey to the thrift store! The right corner of the canvas is not as snug as the other corners (see last two photos) - I have not tried to press it in further so as to not damage the canvas.Dimensions (with frame): 21" wide by 17" tallNotes:This painting will ship fully insured up to its purchase price in a 28" x 5" x 24" box.
