Description: Twin Phoenix Shield This is a full-size round wooden shield with a black double-headed Phoenix design and matching border. The design has been completely hand-painted using only the highest quality artist's grade paints over an airbrushed white burst background. The shield is made out of a 1/2" thick smooth composite wood (which is considerably stronger and more durable than plywood). Dual leather straps are used to comfortably secure the arm along the back (one going over the forearm and the other intended to be gripped or held). The shield has also been applied with several coats of topcoat to further protect and preserve it through the years. It measures about 25 inches in diameter. Please Note: Any difference in color shown in the photos is merely due to different lighting.
