Description: Round the World by Andrew Carnegie 1st Edition 1884 Charles Scribner's Sons Rough condition. Please view the photos carefully for details. Fabric cover has lots of wear, back of cover has a large crease mark at the top and strong discoloration. Edges of cover are worn and discolored. Book pages are rough cut with some places standing out more than others. Opening page is split to the front cover and back cover is almost completely detached. Contents of book are still holding together well, though I think perhaps an extra blank page in back might be missing. The full text appears to be there. There are some inscriptions. None by Carnegie. May C Pope July 2 1884 and Cyril Egg..... something. Most of the pages are clean and neat, but there are a few with some markings, including a pair that has some strong tanning, possibly from something pressed in between the pages. Green page of back cover has been almost completely torn out including the part which is glue to the back cover itself. Please view photos closely. This is a Rare book and priced accordingly.
