The importance of this function becomes priority, leaving aside the aesthetic character e artistic work. The epic of all literatures, on the other hand, draws on a heritage of pre-existing myths that offer a magical world already built from the human imagination and ready to be illustrated with words and, later, with pictures. This is, in fact, the cornerstone for the correct understanding also of the art of Ronak Moshiri. The painter of Gemina, Canadian and Persian origin, explicitly manifests its dual nature in its artistic work. There his poetic inspiration originates in the romance verses of the Khamsa (five poems epics) by the famous Persian poet, astrologer and physicianNiẠ“ÄmÄ«. His conduct stylistic part, on the other hand, from the lyrical expressionism of a decidedly mold western. The result of this symbiosis between mythology and phenomenology are narrations in depictions and words that make up the painted epos of Moshiri. It is no coincidence that the works of the painter are structurally close to ancient frescoes, where each illustration is accompanied by a transcription or vice versa (think only of illuminated manuscripts). The mutual complementarity between art and writing corresponds to that between objectification and interpretation that it takes place through a single flow of thought, which manifests itself melodically, without distinguishing the letter from the form. Indeed the Moshiri figures are indefinite, they dissolve in the compositions of colors as the verses that accompany them are infinite, absorbed by the plot illustrative. Therefore, a dreamlike atmosphere is obtained which, however, has nothing surreal but, on the contrary, it seems the distant memory of a factualism historicized and, therefore, fascinating for the sole fact of the impossibility of to know it that through the myth. In such meaning love, central to Moshiri's art, is not only legendary but above all symbolic, transformed into the ideal meaning, in the sign of recognition of the perfection of affection. Thus they live between images and words, KHOSROW (THE PRINCE), with the defect of not recognizing true love and is, consequently, depicted at a lower level, and SHIRIN (LA PRINCESS) who embodies the sweetness and the intellect in understanding the feeling pure. The two realization plans of the protagonists refer again to archaic iconographic solutions (we only think of the different scales of representation of the characters according to their importance in art medieval), emphasizing the intent to put a veil of mysticism on the tale, exactly as any epic poem would require. The symbol here represents the artwork made in its total unitary completeness. The denial of aesthetics is evident romantic, which insists on using allegory, not as an expression intellectual rhetoric but as a manifestation of the separation between the human and the divine. Moshiri demonstrates with his art that the aesthetic form and the content material can coincide in a work made with the brush, exactly as in the one written with a pen.
