Description: This is a Silver coloured cased pendant key ring made from a Swiss FIVE RAPPEN coin. The earliest is from 1946, latest from 1975. They were first issued in 1879 and continued in the same design until 1980 when they were replaced by the current version. They feature Libertas, The Roman Goddess of Liberty with braided hair tied with a ribbon and wearing a tiara. All my coins have been in circulation so may show some minor imperfections but they are in very good condition with fine detail. They are highly polished to a mirror finish and then lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The key ring is new & Chromed Steel. The pendant case is Silver plated with an engraved spiral detail on the rear and a diameter approx. 23 mm, height 30 mm. The photos are for display purposes only so may not show your chosen year.
