This tape is great for reinforcing shrink wrap seams, patching holes in the shrink wrap, and attaching zipper-access doors. Shrink Film UVPreservation Tape is a Self Adhesive Tape which is conformable, tough, and waterproof, with a permanently tacky adhesive. The adhesive bonds well to most surfaces, over a wide range of temperatures. The tape has good tensile strength as well as good tear characteristics. It has Oriented Polyethylene and Synthetic Rubber Clear Adhesive. The total thickness is 10 MIL and the tensile strength is 22lbs. The Adhesive to Backing and Adhesive to Steel is 32 Ounce/Inch Width and 70 Ounce/Inch Width respectively. The dielectric strength of this Shrink Film Tape is 9000 Volts. This poly Tape has an Excellent Moisture Resistance and the temperature range is between+32F to +180F. The water vapor transfer rate is .4 gm/100 sq In/24 hours.
