It is the later Rom-1 version with the headphone jack included. This item is considered to be the best retro pc audio option ever made for retro gaming pc builds. It covers a very large library of DOS and Windows 9X games from the mid 1980s through the 1990s. This unit has been fully tested and verified working. There are a few light scuffs and scratches on the metal case, and one scratch on the front panel, right next to the master volume control. Internally, this unit is in spectacular condition, as Roland made these sound modules using very high quality, audio grade components. This Roland MT-32 MIDI Sound Module has been stored in a sealed, airtight container inside of a temperature controlled storage unit ever since I purchased it years ago.
