The figurine is a member of the Baby Animals Collection. This series was created by the wildlife artist Rodger J. Brown. The animal is a baby elephant calf. The calf is well detailed in its features. It is attractively colored as well. The bottom has the artist signature, maker's mark and year of manufacture 1981, and numbered 0271. The condition is like new. He is really cute. It belong to my sister and has been in her curio cabinet. The item does not have any chips or cracks. The figurine was made in Mexico. The length, width and height are 4" tall x 4" long x 3” at the widest point of his back legs. I do not have the box or any paperwork that would have come with the figurine.
