Description: This wonderful signed edition of A Wiltshire Village by Robin and Heather Tanner is a wonderful showcase for the words and etchings celebrating the couple's love of the English Countryside. I was lucky enough to know the Tanners in the 1980s as a young member of the local CND group they ran, often from their own home in North Wiltshire. The book was signed and given to me as a birthday present when they realised I was attending a meeting at their home, rather than celebrating my birthday (I didn't have the heart to tell them my friends were waiting at a local pub for me to celebrate after the party). The book is in lovely condition and shows minimal fading on the dust jacket and is clean and unfixed inside. I am only selling as downsizing and needing to reduce my book collection. This wonderful book showcases the glorious work of Robin Tanner and would be a great addition to any collection of his or English art.
