Reissue of a 1970 recording featuring Peter Schreier, Jutta Vulpius, Hermann-Christian Polster, Friederike Apelt, Wolfgang Hellmich, the Rundfunkchor Leipzig and Dresdner Philharmonie. Conducted by Robert Hanell. The front liner insert has a few small rips on the edges.
