Description: Rare Titanic replica folding chair in mahogany and leather made by Classic Leather in 1998. It has a brass plaque under the seat. It reads- RMS Titanic Artifact Collection Classic Leather, Inc. It measures 38" high by 24" wide and the seat height is 17 1/2". The chair can stand in the folding position and has a button to unlock it. It is heavy, very well made and can be used. This was one piece in a large Titanic collection. It does not appear to have been used. It is in very good condition. This line was authorized by RMS Titanic Inc., the New York company that owns rights to objects recovered from the wreck. Background- RMS TITANIC, INC. partnered with Classic Leather, Inc. to offer reproduction furniture from the White Star Line's "Olympic Class" liner, the Titanic (1912).
