Description: This is a rare autographed February 12th, 1970 playbill from the PREMIERE PERFORMANCE of the Original Broadway production of the musical flop "GANTRY" which played the George Abbott Theatre in New York City. (The actual opening was delayed until February 14th, 1970 and the production closed the same night after only one performance.) ..... DETAILS: The 52 page playbill measures 6 X 9 inches and includes full production credits, cast list, synopsis of scenes, list of musical numbers and bios of each of the leading actors but with the exception of the front cover, no cast photos. The playbill includes a full page ad for the Original Broadway Cast recording of "GANTRY" (Available Soon) on RCA Records and Tapes. The release of this recording was scrapped when the show closed prematurely. The playbill's title page was signed by RITA MORENO and will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity ..... CONDITION: With the exception of minor edge wear, this rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
