It's a gorgeous Renaissance pattern of scrolling leaves and flowers. Very sturdy Italian pottery plates from the renowned DeRuta Pottery. The plate's reverse says, in the maker's mark, that it is decorated with decal and handpainting and although it may get hot in the microwave it is dishwasher safe.
