Description: A stunning large scale figural group and vase by Richard Klemm of Dresden Germany. The figure features a cherub or putti trying to grab a duck with its wings extended.Behind both figures is a large tulip style vase that has a floral encrusted front. The vase and its coloring is very reminiscent of antique Staffordshire style tulip vases. The grouping sits on a tripod base of gold scrolls. The piece measures 10" tall, 7.25" wide and 7" deep. It is in good antique condition with the following issues: 1) The left hand side of the beak of the duck appears to have a chip, though the coloring has been matched to the other part of the beak and is pretty camouflaged. 2) There is one leaf missing to the floral encrustation to the front of the vase portion. Please see photos for details.
