Description: The pride of Cleveland, Ohio. Reynolds Model 70 trombone, built in 1949 serial number 19xxx. 7.5-inch yellow brass bell/gooseneck/tuning slide and nickel braces, .500 bore slide with yellow brass outers and nickel oversleeves, and a very elegant beveled slidelock. As you will see in the photos, the instrument has lacquer wear/scratches throughout. One small area of chrome wear on the inner slide stocking. Instrument just came out of the shop for a full cleaning, dent work, and slide work. The slide work is okay but could be improved. Comes with a Reynolds case not original to the instrument. You might think from the specs that this instrument plays small. Far from it! Big warm sound with a fantastic upper register. Message me if you have any questions about the instrument. Thanks!
