No chips or cracks in the textured glass panels. They are secure and make a lovely amber glow when lit. The frame for the glass is made of metal, the arm is wrought iron and the wall mount is cast iron. The black painted finish has some light wear here and there, but this only adds to the antique / vintage personality. :) See closeups for details. Uses a standard-base light bulb up to 60 watts, or we suggest using an outdoor LED bulb for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage for bright light.
