Description: Revell's combo kit H-1834 of the manned Mercury Capsule and the Gemini two-person Space Capsules both in 1:48th scale. This is the mid 1990's reissue of the kit originally released at height of the space race in 1964. A favorite of mine as I built this was one of my first model kits I built back around 1966 (back when it cost less than $1.00 and glue came in tubes). Kit is un-opened in original shrink-wrap. As shown in pictures, despite storing away from sunlight, is showing box compression from the shrink-wrap. Other than the compression, the box and artwork is in great shape. I bought this kit soon after the mid 1990's re-issue and I have stored it in a dark closet since then hoping to build it one day. Now it more than 25 years later, and my interests have changed. Thus the time has come to pass it on to someone who appreciates these vintage kits with original release box art. Auction is a reverse auction meaning the price will drop every week until it sales.
