Description: For your consideration is a deep platter, made of pottery. It was manufactured by Taylor, Smith & Taylor of Chester, West Virginia. It is a shade of yellow, with hundreds of brown specks. In the center is a very colorful Folk Art rooster. The rooster has Folk Art flowers and vines in front of him, behind him and beneath him. This pattern is known as Reveille Rooster and was produced in the 1960s.The width is slightly more than 12 1/4" and from top to bottom, is almost 10". The rim is 1 5/8" above the surface it is setting on. This Reveille Rooster deep platter is an old item that was used. It has 0 cracks and 0 chips, however the rooster and the decorations surrounding it, have several skips and/or misses in their coloring. The trim band around the rim, is very worn. Please, carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description. Whenever it is practical, I will combine shipping.
