FAQWhat is Windows XP 32-Bit PAE?This particular version of Windows XP has the PAE patch installed. PAE, or Physical Address Extensions, allows the operating system to see more than 4GB of RAM. This patch, which was ported from Windows Server 2003, allows the operating system to use all available ram for programs. This allows for more programs to be opened or running in the background. The drawback would be the program(s) is still LIMITED to 4GB under the 32-bit OS. This does not mean 64-bit programs can run under this operating system; only 32-bit programs. If you need your programs to have access to more than 4GB or run 64-bit programs, please select 64-bit. What is Motherboard/Bios Embedded LPT Type?This option is for those who wish to have the Parallel/Printer/LPT/DB25 port be turned on/off and controlled by the BIOS of the motherboard. Within the BIOS, the port will have a dedicated and known HEX address that the user can know and change.
