A very stunning fully buttoned chesterfield hump or camel sofa.It has been hand dyed to a lovely deep burgundy colour.The sofa is raised on lovely mahogany claws and ball feet with carved detail. The design dates back to the 18th Century but these are made mid 2oth Century. We have deep cleaned, washed back the colour, hand dyed serval times, hand waxed and hand polished the sofa.The claw and ball feet are stripped back, stained and french polished. Condition-wise, there will be some aged-related marks here and there but nothing in particular. Caring for your items. Vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking, creasing and wear. We recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost and keep out of sun light. For Hand-Dyed leather items, we don’t recommend that you place them in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as they will dry out and fade.For wood, we recommend a regular thorough clean and waxing also.
