The distinctive cabinet just gorgeous. The condition of the wooden cabinet is very good, it shows a lot of wood grain and it has been refinished using high quality lacquers as it was originally, thus the finish is great. This is a working radio ready to play, display and enjoy – the sound is clear and crisp with no hum. As with all my radios it is electrically sound - the tubes are strong and all of the original wax and paper capacitors inside the chassis have been replaced. The radio plays very well and should give years of good service. The radio features: stylized cabinet with a rounded front; It also has a set very of distinct colors walnut and maple; a working dial light; a nice-looking glass dial with a slide rule pointer; a good-sized speaker; the original bakelite knobs; a very stylized wooden grill with excellent replacement grill cloth; the cord has been changed and updated to a polarized plug the back is original and has an internal loop antenna. The measurements are: 12” across, 8” high and 7” deep – it will continue to give years of good service. Why buy a radio from rosscd57?
