This Printer Model is partially printed and partially hand drawn. Beautiful and possibly unique. Britain proved additional autonomy, but as the 1940s became the 1950s, it was becoming clearer that independence was inevitable. Banknote printer Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company prepared this beautiful design for a proposed 100 Pound banknote for Gold Coast in approximately 1953. Perhaps it was the thought that Gold Coast could remain colonial if it split from British West Africa, hence the beginning steps seen here with regard to banknote creation. Both sides of the note feature printing and some hand painted design elements. An authentic note that this note replicates sold for thousands GBP and was in way worse condition. This note is unattainable for most but this reproduction is the next best thing available which is perfect to display in your home or add to your binder etc. All of these notes go under digital restoration of some kind. Some go under major restoration. Some notes are also built from seperate proofs, That makes these repros the only way to receive these notes on one single sheet.
